Fiber introduction

Aluminum silicate: AlSiO₃ is made of hard chamotte as raw material with the resistance or electric-arc furnace fusing, blowing fiber forming process.

1. Aluminum silicate fiber is also called ceramic fiber which is a kind of new- model lightweight refractory, and this material has the advantages that its volume weight is light, it is high temperature resistant, its thermal stability is good, thermal conductivity is low, thermal capacity is small, mechanical vibration resistance is good, thermal expansion is small, thermal insulation is good, etc.

2. After special processing, it can be made into aluminum silicate fiber boards, aluminum silicate fiber mats, aluminum silicate fiber ropes, aluminum silicate fiber blankets, etc.

3. New model sealing material has some characteristics, for example, it is high temperature resistant, its thermal conductivity is low, unit weight is light, service life is long, tensile strength is big, flexibility is good, it is non-toxic, so it is a new model material of replacing asbestos.

 
4. Widely used for thermal insulation of heat energy equipment of metallurgy, electricity,  machinery, chemical engineering.

Aluminum silicate fiber is a kind of high temperature resistant fiber. It has the advantages like light unit weight, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low pyroconductivity, mechanical vibration resistance, high elasticity, sound proof and electrically insulating, and good chemical stability. It can be used for the high temperature furnaces filling, kiln insulation layer, heat-supply pipe thermal insulation and other engineering of high temperature equipment, such as metallurgy, chemical engineering, electric power, mechanical engineering industrial furnaces, and it can be used for high temperature sealing, filtering, noise elimination, catalyst vector and composite material reinforcement. Aluminum silicate fiber products cover boards, blankets (mats), pipes, ropes, bricks, etc.
